HYSTORE<\/strong> aims to develop and validate innovative Thermal Energy Storage (TES) concepts based on advanced Phase Change Materials (PCM) and Thermochemical Materials (TCM) solutions.<\/p>\n

The new concepts address multiple applications in heating and cooling (H\/C) systems and domestic hot water (DHW) configurations. In addition, the project establishes optimal conditions for delivering hybrid energy and power services, supported by the development of a smart aggregator and an open-source multi-service platform.<\/p>\n

HYSTORE promotes the deployment of thermal storage technologies to increase the share of renewable energy sources (RES)<\/strong>. It positions TES as a key enabler for enhancing the flexible and reliable operation of building-level electrical and thermal systems as decentralised energy resources. This approach maximises the utilisation of locally generated renewables while supporting grid peak shaving and demand-side management in increasingly renewable-driven energy systems.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
