Project Engineering

Distribution of heating and cooling through a network connecting buildings via thermal exchange substations.

Upgrade to current standards of all electrical installations in public access areas.

New LED lighting in the basilica and all exterior spaces.

Installation of photovoltaic collection fields at the Mirador dels Apòstols and the exterior walkway.

Adaptation of various spaces such as the grocery store, the Gothic cloister, and several areas within the monastery.

Upgrade of access systems and execution of installations for the expansion of the museum, located beneath Plaça de Santa Maria.

Master plans, technical and administrative specifications, and support in managing tenders.

Legalisation of installations.

Maintenance management of building systems.

Comprehensive security management under the supervision of the Abbey’s Security Department.

Legal Engineering

Legal master plans, executive legal adaptation projects, activity licences and environmental licences.

Energy Consulting

Construction, maintenance, and energy management of a production plant and heat distribution network serving more than 40,000 square metres of the Abbey of Montserrat. The system is based on two biomass-fuelled heat generators providing 1,600 kW of thermal power, distributed through an existing pipe network.

Sustainable Architecture

Definition of the strategic and action plan for the Smart Sanctuary, aiming to make the Abbey of Montserrat more intelligent and efficient in resource usage, cost reduction, and energy savings — all while being environmentally respectful and improving the services provided to users and visitors.
